Hey there! welcome to "The Sustainable Events Forum".
TSEF was created to spark ideas and motivate people to action on environmental and sustainable initiatives for events.
Attend one of our events and join us in creating a more sustainable events industry!
We align our efforts around four pillars:
We are committed to learning from experts and each other.
We aim to work with many people as we can as we all work toward a healthy planet
We are inspired by others and in turn, we try to uplift and inspire others
To quote Paulo Coelho, "the world is changed by your example, not by your opinion." We must act in order to change things
Who we are and what we hope to accomplish, together!
Educational and networking events and resources for event professionals to spark ideas and create action plans on the climate crisis as it affects the events industry
Join industry leaders and subject experts as we create action plans to address climate change at our events and in our businesses
From certification to leading suppliers, learn what you need to know to make your business and promotional events more sustainable
Candice Tulsieram, DES
Candice has been planning events for over 12 years and she believes that we should all leave this world a little better than we found it.
Candice champions sustainability because the future of her two little boys and her extended family depend on the actions we take today.
In addition to the Sustainable Events Forum, Candice is Chief Event Strategist at her company, 360 Events Inc. and she is on a mission to plan and execute events which are a force for good in our environment and communities.
Natalie Lowe, CMM, CRL
Natalie never thought about the environment until her hometown of Slave Lake Alberta was consumed in a forest fire in May of 2011. After 8 years waiting for somebody to do something about climate change, she figured maybe somebody had gotten lost and she may as well get to work.
A hospitality and tourism business professional for over 30 years, Natalie runs her DMC, Celebrate Niagara. Natalie is on a mission to find help people to lead on climate action in their communities and in their workplaces.
TSEF also has a rockstar line up of founding committee members who have graciously volunteered their time, energy and passion.
